We’re excited to introduce our most powerful update yet: Collaboration & Teams. This release transforms Taia from a fast AI document translator into a full collaborative translation platform, giving professional teams the tools they need to manage users, workflows, billing, and high-quality translation tasks — all in one place.


🚀 What’s New

🔹 Organizations & Teams

  • Create an organization and invite team members
  • Set up teams to manage projects by department or function
  • Invite users to specific roles:
    • Organization Manager
    • Billing Manager
    • Team Manager
    • Team Member
  • Users can switch between multiple teams using the sidebar selector

🔹 Role-Based Access Control

  • Organization Managers have full visibility and control
  • Team Managers can manage their team and invite new members
  • Team Members can create projects and edit translations

🔹 Shared Billing & Subscription Model

  • No per-seat pricing – one subscription covers all users under a billing account
  • Teams can share or manage their own billing accounts
  • All Pro features are shared: 189 languages, 65 file types, 100k words/month, CAT tool, API access

🔹 Collaborative Task Management

  • Assign MTPE, Revision, and Proofreading tasks to team members
  • Manage task status and assignments within the project view
  • New Assignments dashboard for users to accept or reject tasks
  • Access the built-in CAT Tool to edit AI translations collaboratively

🔹 Organization Guidelines

  • Define rules, style guides, or compliance policies for your team
  • Upload guideline documents
  • Require confirmation before new project creation

🔹 Project & Team Context

  • Every project is linked to a specific team
  • Projects are now filterable and searchable across the entire organization
  • Task-based workflows are now built into the project lifecycle
